This Privacy Policy explains what information Levld collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Levld is built by a small independent team. When we say "Levld", "we", "us" or "our", we mean the team behind the Levld app. If you have any questions, contact us at support@levld.app.
Levld is built on Apple's Screen Time framework. This framework is privacy preserving by design, which means Apple does not allow apps like ours to read your raw usage data. In practice:

To understand how Levld is used and to improve it, we collect a limited amount of analytics data through two service providers: PostHog (product analytics) and Superwall (our paywall and subscription tooling). This includes:
This analytics data is not tied to your name, email address, or account. Even if you create an account, we keep analytics events separate from your account details. The data is used in aggregate to answer questions like "where do people drop off in onboarding" rather than to identify any individual person. We do not use this data for advertising, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
You do not need an account to use Levld. You can continue as a guest and keep everything on your device. If you choose to create an account, you sign in with Apple or Google, and we receive your name and email address from them. With Sign in with Apple, you can use Hide My Email, in which case we only receive a private relay address.
We use this information to create and maintain your account and to respond to you about your account or subscription. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for third party advertising. The sign in itself is handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies.
You can delete your account at any time from the app's settings, which removes your account information from our systems. You can also email support@levld.app.
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your credit card number, billing address, or other payment credentials. Apple's handling of your payment information is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
Our in app paywall is operated using Superwall, which receives purchase and trial events (such as "trial started" or "subscription renewed") so the paywall can function and so we can measure conversion. Superwall never receives your payment details either.

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not sell or rent any data to anyone, ever.

Because your screen time data never leaves your device, it is never part of anything we could share.
Analytics data is retained for as long as it is useful for improving the app, after which it is deleted or aggregated. Because this data is identified only by random identifiers rather than your name or email, we usually cannot connect it to you as a person. If you ask us to, we will work with our service providers to delete the analytics data associated with your device where we are reasonably able to locate it. If you created an account, deleting it from the app's settings removes your account information from our systems. Data stored on your device, including your scores, history, and settings, is deleted when you delete the app.

Levld is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 18, you may only use Levld with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@levld.app and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal data, such as the right to know what is collected, to access or correct it, to delete it, or to opt out of certain uses. Several US states, including California, give consumers specific rights along these lines. For clarity: we do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front. We will never treat you differently for exercising a privacy right.
Because Levld collects very little data and keeps the sensitive parts on your device, most rights can be exercised simply by managing the app on your phone. For anything else, contact us at support@levld.app and we will respond as quickly as we can, generally within 45 days.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited data we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but the most sensitive data Levld works with never leaves your device in the first place, which is the strongest protection of all.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of Levld after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
